Minnesota 2nd CD: The Attacks on Sarvi Begin

...and so it begins.

I was wondering how long it would take before Congressman Kline or his surrogates would begin their attack campaign on Steve Sarvi. Well it looks like Kevin Ecker (Eckernet.com) has decided it is time to plunge forward; and attacks Sarvi's military service directly. The only good service is Conservative --No Questions Asked-- service.

How hypocritical can you get? Support the troops? Does Sarvi's boots on the ground count less then anyone else? Congressman Kline considers his military record off limits for discussion... insult Col. Kline and you insult the military.

Which military is being despicably insulted by Kevin Ecker?

If somebody had written this same kind of tripe about Kline, you can rest assured, there would be outrage on all fronts. The Kline campaign would demand that Sarvi disavow any connection to such a blogger. That he denounce the insidious accusations. And that someone issue an immediate apology.

Anybody think the Kline campaign will do the right thing? We are all waiting with bated breath......yeah, right.

Kevin,

To quote from your blog:

If either one of those is true, then why the change in stories. Especially since the most recent story is much less believable, or outright false.

Sounds like a pretty heavy insinuation that you believe Sarvi is lying. I consider that an attack -- maybe you would like to rephrase?

Sarvi himself has made his military service a central issue in his campaign.

I don't question his service, as by all accounts in was honorable. They don't give out Bronze Stars for taking out the trash after all.

However, his story has changed on one questionable part of his service. I merely ask for a clarification of that.

How is that wrong again?? Surely if there is nothing to hide, Sarvi would have no problem addressing that minor issue.

Attack me if you wish, but the fact that you ignore the issue suggests to me that there is something there.
