Politco had a story about Norm Coleman dropping his negative ads because the "country is in the middle of a crisis". But, I found this in the comments about the story:
i was hosting a suite at the St.Paul Excel Center during a Wild hockey game, when our beloved Senator Coleman walked in. I had been hosting the suite for two hours waiting for my clients to eat. I was starving. There was one hamburger left, and I was preparing my bun when Coleman walks in, waves and grabs my burger. Then waves again and leaves. I found out he didn't know anyone in the suite. What kind of nut does that? No, I am NOT voting for him.
